Warranty

At Coventry Select, we believe buying a vehicle should be an enjoyable and transparent experience. We carefully select the vehicles we offer for sale and prepare them to the highest standard reasonably possible before they are advertised.

Many of our vehicles are quality Japanese imports, chosen for their condition, reliability and history.

Vehicle Preparation

Before sale, every vehicle is subject to a preparation process which may include, where appropriate:

  • Mechanical inspection.
  • Road testing.
  • MOT (where required).
  • Servicing or maintenance where necessary.
  • Safety checks.
  • Professional valeting.

As every vehicle is different, the exact preparation carried out may vary depending on its age, mileage and condition.

Used Vehicle Warranty

Unless otherwise stated in the vehicle advertisement or sales documentation, qualifying vehicles are supplied with a warranty designed to provide reassurance against unexpected mechanical or electrical failures occurring after purchase.

The precise level of cover, duration and terms may vary depending on:

  • Vehicle age
  • Mileage
  • Vehicle type
  • Individual vehicle condition

Full warranty details will always be explained before purchase.

What’s Not Covered

As with any used vehicle warranty, normal wear and tear and routine maintenance items are not covered.

Examples include:

  • Tyres
  • Brake pads and discs
  • Wiper blades
  • Bulbs
  • Batteries (unless specifically covered)
  • Clutch wear
  • Cosmetic deterioration
  • Interior trim wear
  • Paint defects consistent with age
  • Regular servicing and maintenance

Used Vehicles

Many of the vehicles we sell are between 10 and 15 years old.

Naturally, vehicles of this age may show signs of previous use consistent with their age and mileage. Minor cosmetic marks or age-related wear should therefore be expected and do not affect the vehicle’s roadworthiness.

Any significant defects known to us will always be disclosed before sale.

Customer Satisfaction

If you experience a problem following your purchase, we encourage you to contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

We will always seek to deal with genuine issues fairly and professionally in accordance with your legal rights and the terms of any applicable warranty.

Your Statutory Rights

Nothing within this Warranty Policy affects or limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection legislation.
